Terms of Service

Welcome to Beacon Studio (shop.beacon.studio). By placing an order with us, you agree to the terms outlined below.We keep our terms straightforward and transparent.

1. Pricing & VAT

Beacon Studio is not VAT registered. The price you see displayed on each product page and at checkout is the exact total price you pay—no additional VAT or handling charges will be added.

2. Artwork, AI Content & Customer Responsibility

All items we sell are made to order using artwork files supplied by you.

  • Accuracy: You are solely responsible for reviewing and verifying all artwork content, including grammar,spelling, dates, contact details, bleed margins, and visual composition.

  • AI-Generated Artwork: If you supply artwork, graphics, or text created using Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools,you are entirely responsible for inspecting the final output. AI tools frequently introduce subtle hallucinations,distorted typography, spelling errors, or anatomical anomalies; we print your files as supplied and approved.

  • Permissions & Copyright: By submitting artwork to us (including AI-generated imagery), you confirm that you hold the legal right or appropriate licence to use and reproduce all images, text, and trademarks. You agree not to supply material that is defamatory, offensive, or infringes on any third party’s intellectual property.

3. Proofing & Approval

  • Where digital proofs are issued, production will not commence until we receive your clear, written approval.

  • Once you approve a proof, your order enters production and cannot be edited, cancelled, or refunded.

  • Please review proofs on a computer monitor where possible; mobile phone screens can distort colours and layout scale.

4. Turnaround: Design, Production Prep & Manufacturing

  • Design & Proofing Time: File setup, artwork checks, design adjustments, and digital proofing typically take between 1 to 4 working days.

  • Production Turnaround: Once your proof is approved and payment is complete, physical production begins.Estimated manufacturing turnaround times vary by product and are stated clearly on each product page.

  • Working Days: Turnaround schedules exclude weekends and UK bank holidays.

5. Colour Variation & Screen Differences

Print uses CMYK ink or toner, whereas computer screens and phones display in RGB light. As a result:

  • Printed colours will never look 100% identical to the backlit image on your screen.

  • Natural, subtle colour variances can also occur across different paper stocks, board finishes, and coatings.

  • Minor variations within acceptable commercial print tolerances do not constitute a defect or printing fault.

6. Delivery & Transit

  • Delivery is handled by DPD (UK mainland only) and usually takes 1–2 working days after dispatch.

  • While we make every effort to dispatch orders within our stated timeframes, Beacon Studio cannot be held liable for delivery delays caused by courier service disruptions, extreme weather, or regional road delays.

7. Governing Law

These terms and any purchases made through Beacon Studio are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
